Waltloo is an industrial area in Pretoria North with mixture of manufacturing plants, warehouses, retail shops, churches, schools, townships, houses and security complexes.
Pretoria North is home to over 50 car dealerships and the Kolonnade Shopping Centre. Waltloo is an industrial area about 11 km from the Pretoria City, with many car manufacturing plants.
Waltloo is primary to Team Building in Pretoria. To truly understand the sounds and colors of Team Building in Waltloo, we also explored the sidewalk cafés, museums, city parks, and off the beaten attractions.
We checked into our Waltloo Air B&B, and were off to Time Square Casino and Entertainment Centre in Pretoria East. Popular restaurants at the Time Square Casino include The Raj, Rooftop Restaurant And Bar, Forti Grill And Bar, and Vida E Caffè.
Anisha took her panoramic National Geo pic worth a 1000 words at the Pretoria Zoo. The Pretoria Zoo is one of the eight largest zoos in the world, and most highly rated. The Pretoria zoo is home to over 300 different species of exquisite animals.
Our itinerary also included the Menlyn Maine Shopping Centre, located close to the Menlyn Mall in Atterbury Road, Pretoria East. Popular restaurants at include the Old Town Italy Menlyn Maine, Mythos Greek Restaurant, and Tashas.

If you have time on your hands, stop at the Union Buildings, Rietvlei Nature Reserve, Pretoria Botanical Garden, Groenkloof Nature Reserve, Wonderboom Nature Reserve, Melrose House, Rietvlei Dam, Ditsong Museum of Cultural History, and Faerie Glen Nature Reserve.
We just missed the 4 o’clock traffic, and stopped for some foodies at KFC – a Chicken Lunch Box. With her slippers under the table, Anisha pushed her pencil to finish her blog about Waltloo. Early by the crack of dawn, we packed ship and head sail for Silverton.
The week was still a new puppy, and we were exited to YouTube the Pretoria Zoo, Menlyn Maine, Centurion Mall, Pretoria Botanical Garden, Montecasino, Gold Reef City, and the Ditsong Museum.
